Authors A to Z - Steve Savile
Steve Savile was born in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne but has been living in exile in Sweden for the last 8 years, where he makes his living as a Grade 5 school teacher.
Steve was among the 2002 Winners of the Writers of the Future award for Houdini's Last Illusion, and has been nominated for the British Fantasy Award.
He has published two novels, The Secret Life of Colours and Laughing Boy's Shadow, the latter recently translated into Swedish and published by Aleph Bokfrlag, and one short story collection, Similar Monsters.
He has edited a number of books including Smoke Ghost & Other Apparitions and Black Gondolier and Other Stories (which collect Fritz Leiber's horror stories into a definitive set) and Redbrick Eden.
He has a new short story collection, Angel Road, due from Elastic Press.
